This is one of my favorite restaurants in Panama City Beach.  The food is spectacular and served in a rustic beach atmosphere, and very reasonably priced.  There is sufficient parking

available and sometimes must wait for a table, but hit the bar while you wait.  My favorite drink of all times is served at Hammerhead Fred’s – which makes me sad because I only get down to Panama City Beach once a year – so make sure to order a “Mango Tango”!  It is great if your a sissy like me and want a fruity drink without a strong alchole taste.  Now if your one of those that enjoys something that will make ya grow hair on your chest then you might enjoy the “VooDoo Punch”!

As for the food I highly recommend starting out the meal with an appetizer of the Market Fresh Oysters and the Alligator.  Moving on to the meal here are several items that I find topnotch:

Seafood “Big Catch” (Fried oysters, Mahi Mahi, shrimp served with cheese on a hoagie roll)

Captain’s Platter (A plate full of fresh Mahi Mahi, Gulf Shrimp, Select Apalachicola oysters, Bay scallops, stuffed Blue crab and Blue Crab claws served fried or sautéed)

Biloxi Crab Cakes & Shrimp (A pair of paneed’ crab cakes loaded with fresh lump Blue Crab meat and a hint of Old Bay seasoning & topped with Crab Imperial sauce)

Don’t forget to finish things off with a slice of Key Lime Pie or try the Brownie Delight (if you have room left).
